A World Without Heroes (Beyonders, #1) by Brandon Mull
I was a little impatient, though, because I bdyonders anxious to start the second book. I liked him a lot. The thing about this book that makes it worthwhile is the characterization. Mull has a character make a statement that a man comes of age at twelve in this world, and I kept reminding myself of that fact as Jason seems to be put into situations that seemed much too mature, and he is expected for the most part to comport himself as a man.
We are conversing, in truth, but not in person. I still hold out that I’ll find some life in these pages that will draw me into the story rather than merely acting as beynders observer. Thirty yards downriver the lean man hauled the short man out of the water.
This book is purely for fun, and I loved it! He aims to shoot the line onto the boat in order to give the band something to grab onto, but instead, his shot goes awry and the arrow pierces the shoulder of one of the musicians.
Whether it was truly light or dark he could not say, for his enemies had stolen his sight.

For myself, I try to take each book as its own entity and appreciate the unique elements therein. The prince waited in darkness.
And I think another reason why I hadn’t done anything about this book was because it felt so meh. I just can’t help it or contain myself when I want to rant about my special interests??
However, since I have have the entire series to read, it would be a shame to merely stop here. After all, being a wizard should include a few advantages!
